Jet and Ben

The Jet and Ben initiative is now 16 years old and is an agency flagship project.  Ever popular the dogs continue to spread the "Say No To Strangers" message to primary and special needs schools in County Durham and Darlington. For more information please click here.

 

Wise Drive

First held in 2000 Wise Drive is a multi agency initiative aimed at preparing young people to become safer drivers.  It is an action packed education workshop programme targeting young people within reach of their first driving licence..For more information please click here.

 

Eddy People

EDDY is a youth diversion programme, developed from the highly successful Durham Youth Enterprise Scheme which has been running for more than 14 years.  The programme offers personal development to disadvantaged young people (12 - 17 years) at risk of becoming offenders.  This year EDDY has diverted 175 young people away from crime and antisocial behaviour.  For more information please click here.

 

The Shrievalty Awards

Each year, the awards, funded by the High Sheriff, Durham Agency Against Crime and Durham University are given to young people nominated by family members, youth workers, police and other organisations to officially recognise those who have demonstrated bravery, determination and work in the community For more information please click here.

 

Get Hooked On Fishing

Founded by Mick Watson in Durham in 2000, Get Hooked On Fishing was established to build a brighter future for young people through the sport of angling.  The scheme continues to be one of the most successful initiatives for young people that the Durham Agency Against Crime supports.  For more information please click here.
